About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software EngineerIn this role, you will:Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staffRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:4+ years of experience in Application Design and Development using Java and Microservices.4+ years of experience using Database Technologies such as Oracle and MongoDB.Familiarity using Spring BootProficiency in an Agile environment such as Scrum.Proficiency in building relationships with stakeholders and vendors.Exposure of Migrating Applications to Cloud (Google Cloud, Azure, or PCF).Experience in BDD- Cucumber along with API automationFamiliarity in using Kafka and GENI - CopilotCloud certification is a plus.Work experience in Investment Banking, especially in Reference DataJob Expectations:Understand and adhere to standards and best practices of engineering.Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions/features as part of major projects and programs.Review and analyze technical modulesAdapt engineering best practices, leveraging industry standards and emerging technologies to drive new initiatives.Collaborate with senior technical experts, engineering leaders effectivelyTime management and systematic software development practices are must.Posting End Date: 7 Sep 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
